since i last posted but nothing much to write about, had a mini hot run on the 50pound thunders then a cold run. Around 400quid up for the month, pretty poor in some respects but i have played very few games by my usual standards, 33 stts for the month, 5 mtts and about 10 minutes of cash. The profit i have made will be taken out and used to pay for my entry to the 300freeze later this month in brighton untill littlewoods pay me back with my februarys rakeback. Between now and then im guessing its guna be pretty quiet on the poker front.

16th
Note a bad finish but unfotunately i exited in 16th after a BB SB collision, holding A6 all folded round to SB who pushes it to 4k chips with blinds being 800/1600 and me holding 13kish i went over the top only to be called by his AJ, A on the flop but no miracle 6 or split pot. However i feel its a good result as i was never over 14k and had AK once AQ once, and my highest pocket pair being 99, i did have that about 4 times though, laid it done twice all in twice.
I also played the 8k GTD in which i got a great start, again no PP above 99 and this time it caused my exit, a shortie moved all in, i opted to flat call, then last to act popped it up to 900 more to 2k total, i made the call due to pot odds. Flop was a nice 6J9 all diamonds however, dispite that i moved all in called by the other guy. When the cards were flipped we had my 99, re raise had AA (A of diamonds) and the shortie A2, the turn instantly brings the case ace and the board pairs the 6 and sends me packing. Anyway tonight puts me in profit for mtt's this year now i just have to work on the cash deficit.

Received my long awaited rakeback this afternoon, not too much as i faded away last month with the end of a long bad run, but enough to play some STT's. Started off with 4x 30pound thunders, not too much to talk about, lost 2 came 2nd in two. Moved up to play some 50 pound ones next, won the 1st, then took my first real bad beat of the day:
UTG min raised, all folded aroudn to me in the SB with 97, i made the call and the flop came K97, perfect. Update..
Just a quick note to say i've changed the comment settings so anyone can now post after a f ew requests for me to do so, please keep the abuse to a minimum lol. Not much poker has been played since my last post, waiting on my rakeback before i really start to hit the tables, for some reason it has been delayed. Played a sat to the 40k GTD earlier, no luck card dead and with 100 left and 20 seats i pushed all in on the button with K9 off, blinds 150/300 and i had 785 left. Unfortunately called by the guy in the seat infront of me who just limped in....usually the sign of a big hand but 1- it gave me good value as he was definately going to call and 2-as he was high in chips i beleive he could have been trying to see a flop with any range of marginal hands. Unfortunately he had AK and that was that.

It is a free session tracker for profit and loss, and plots information on all sorts of charts i beleive. I haven't had a real look into it yet but it looks like a pretty usefull took if you havent got pokertracker etc (especially as it is free).

I forgot to add
once i finished the 8k gtd a guy on the table says "nh wp" now this is one of my pet hates, it may have been a nice hand (being the winning one) but it wasn't well played considering he put it in with the worst. Just as annoying as when someone says sorry after they river you, you know damn well that are giggling on the end of their pc. Anyway rant over, hopefully only joyfull posts from now on.
Off to a bad start....
Well i would like to say i started this year profitably but unfortunately i havent. Waiting for my rakeback before i start playing on littlewoods i decided to play the 8k gtd 25pound game, it started with 320 or so runners and down to about 120 after the first break in the usual cyrpto fashion or trying to loose an mtt as fast as possible by most players, i was going ok on around 3000 chips, no big pots, no risking of my tourny....untill i get A10 on my BB, 3 limpers the SB makes up the difference and we see a flop of 10 9 2, SB bets out 450 (3xBB) i put him on a week 10 or the 9 so i move all in beleive no limpers have out-flopped me, the next guy who just covers me moves all in and the other 2 fold. I am hoping he didnt hit a set trying to get in cheap with maybe 22, i was right he had K10, but the gods are against me bringing the J on the turn and the gutshot Q on the river to fill his running inside straight draw. Nice to see nothing has changed over the few weeks i took a break.
As for being staked for small cash games and stts on uncoverpoker (tribecca network), i wish i hadn't been. I am being staked by a friend in return for a 70/30 split on all profits and i advertise his rake site to start his affiliate program. Well i can honestly say this network from ym view is the worst i have played on, the players are awefull, any 2 will do, any draw and my luck has been poor. Whilst its not my money i am loosing, i feel double the pressure because im not the kind of guy who likes to owe money, its not even a loan and you make think im weird but the stress of me loosing is doubled because its not my money. I don't want to continue playing here but i have been told to take a few days off and then think about it, its early days and i need to take the long term view. By my confidence is shot, i havent wont anything for about 2 months, constantly being outdraw, constantly getting easily annoyed by players who do what i want (stick it in with junk) and just generally been on a downer.
On a brighter note i have decided to play either the 200 or 300 freeze at brighton later this month with my a world of poker sponsorshop money, courtesy of littlewoods, this cannot come soon enough and a good result would be more than welcome. Untill then i cannot see any light at the end of the tunnel and dont know where i will get my break.

New Year, New Blog.
Well i thought with it being a new year and all i may aswell start a blog as it seems to be becoming a popular habbit. Nothing to report yet, i hope to be playing my first sponsored live event this month courtesty of littlewoods poker and the players club. Its a rakeback deal i am currently on where i get 35% rakeback and 10% gross rake into a personal sponsorship fund, if anyone is interested leave me a comment I will sort you out. I have also just started playing on uncover poker with a small sponsorship deal with therakeman, visit him at www.therakeman.net (part of the deal is that i advertise so thats that done lol) If anyone wants rakeback on tribecca which was previously not allowed I beleive then again contact me and it will be sorted.
